Packaging & Beyond

1st ASEAN Pulp & Paper Summit

13 November, 2024 | Putrajaya, Malaysia

Background

Over the past decade, the ASEAN region has experienced robust economic growth and a strong recovery from the pandemic. It is expected to remain one of the fastest-growing regions of the global economy and an increasingly important growth engine, buoyed by its widening role in global manufacturing supply chains. The continued expansion of domestic consumption and exports has drawn massive investments into ASEAN’s paper packaging industry, which have been fuelled by China’ imposition of a ban on recovered paper imports.

Supported by CPICC, MPPMA, VPPA, APKI and CRRA, etc., our 1st ASEAN Pulp & Paper Summit will be officially held in Kuala Lumper on November 13, with the theme of "Packaging & Beyond".

The event will be co-located with the annual conference of the Federation of ASEAN Pulp and Paper Industry, with specific arrangement as below:

  • Nov. 12 – Registration & Welcome Cocktail
  • 1st ASEAN Paper and Packaging Summit & Lunch Pulp and Paper Technology Breakout Session
  • Nov. 13 - 14 – Tech Mini- Exhibition
  • Nov. 15 – Mill Tour
